They should've used that one room with the camera and the boxes infront of the door in the club level to teach you that you're supposed to crouch behind low cover.Įven if you feel like it was an easy enough mechanic to figure out on your own, clearly plenty of people didn't get the hint, so having some kind of unmissable, unpunishing moment to learn this mechanic would smooth out the experience for new players. SO just as a warning to people, you can stealth crouch while near the benches and the guards wont notice in the light.Īs for me, I played video games for over 20 years, I was there for Super Mario original, Contra, etc. There is nothing in this game that indicates as such, nothing in the controls and nothing in the very first stealth mission (the party club) that so much as mentioned it. Yet, when I come home, there is no suitcase with the key in the hallway like theres supposed to be. In fact, the first time was on my first playthrough when I didnt actually know about the keys.
It took me 25 attempt (yes i counted), I checked 3 guides, 3 forum threads and watched 3 videos on this game just to figure out that pushing DOWN counts as stealth crouch. Am I doing something wrong I did the Prison mission compeletely undetected, three times. Yes I can fly trough the entire game just slaying enemies left and right, and yes I ended up snapping completely at the game and cleared the entire level in a minute. I just finished the whole prison level without killing anyone Then I accidentally picked the kill him option when talking to the homeless guy. I'm probably going to get flak for saying this, but the stealth mission (the Prison) SUCKS!!! This is the first time in my 20 years of experience as a gamer that a game has frustrated me to such an extent that I couldn't and won't finish it.
